HistoryUrban Angels opened 8 years ago on the historic Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona, just a block away from Arizona State University. Quickly the store became known as the best place to shop for women’s designer clothing by the students of ASU. Urban Angels stayed a small boutique not changing much about itself until it went under new ownership in 2005.Karli Jacobson, an employee of Urban Angels for most of her ASU collegiate career, purchased Urban Angels with the idea of marking Urban Angels not just known by ASU students but by the rest of Arizona. Due to massive construction on Mill Ave. in 2007 Karli moved Urban Angels to the newly built Tempe Marketplace only a mile away from the previous location. The store featured a completely modern build out and used the added square footage to feature tons of new designers and Menswear for the first time. Now with the store complete and being just the way Karli imagined it when starting the rebuilding process she is finally ready to take Urban Angels online.
